Cycles
How long are peptides typically used in research? An overview of short, medium and long time windows.
Cycle lengths describe the period over which a compound is typically used in studies and research protocols. They are reference values from the literature – not a recommendation for use.
How long are peptides used?
The duration depends on the mechanism of action: compounds with a rapid-onset, short-lived effect are usually examined in research over a few weeks; compounds whose effects build up slowly (for example in metabolism or at the cellular level) over several months. Breaks between cycles are common, in order to assess effects and re-evaluate the baseline.

Plan the cycle, don’t guess
A cycle is only as meaningful as its documentation: start date, batch, concentration and observations belong in a protocol. The peptide calculator helps with preparation, the Protocols & Routines guide with structuring, and Storage & Stability shows how long a prepared solution remains stable over the course of a cycle.
