Regenerative Research
Regenerative research examines how tissue rebuilds structural order after mechanical, inflammatory or ischaemic strain. Central processes include fibroblast migration, collagen organisation, angiogenesis and the resolution of excessive inflammatory signalling – observed in cell culture, in scratch and co-culture models, and in preclinical tissue models of tendon, intestinal mucosa and skin. The substance classes in this field differ above all in their molecular point of attack: BPC-157, a pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric juice sequence, is used predominantly in models of tissue integrity and new vessel formation; TB-500 is a thymosin beta-4 fragment related to actin dynamics and cell migration; and KPV is a tripeptide from the alpha-MSH molecule studied in inflammation-related cell models. A recurring methodological question in this field is reconstitution and storage stability: solvent choice, pH range, avoidance of foaming when the solvent is added, and aliquoting determine how reproducible a preparation remains across several experimental days. Each batch is tested in our own laboratory by HPLC and UV/Vis spectroscopy, and the batch-specific certificate of analysis can be viewed before purchase – the COA Guide explains how to read it.
