Buy Ipamorelin – Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide with the sequence Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2 and belongs to the growth hormone secretagogues. It acts as an agonist at the ghrelin receptor GHS-R1a, a G-protein-coupled receptor whose activation proceeds via Gq and phospholipase C to IP3-mediated release of intracellular calcium. In basic research the peptide is used to quantify receptor binding and calcium signalling in GHS-R1a-expressing cell lines, to describe the coupling of the secretagogue axis to somatotropic regulation in primary pituitary cultures, and to examine the interplay of two separate receptor systems in co-stimulation experiments with GHRH analogues. The literature emphasises its selectivity: compared with older secretagogues of the GHRP series, markedly less involvement of the ACTH, cortisol and prolactin axes is reported, which makes Ipamorelin a comparatively clean probe for GHS-R1a. Unlike Tesamorelin or CJC-1295, it does not act at the GHRH receptor.
